ACNJ researches issues and produces nationally-acclaimed reports to inform policymakers and the public and to advance solutions. Our NJ KIDS COUNT data on child well-being provides critical information to help informed decision-making leads to smarter choices that help more children.

ASAN works to make our society more inclusive for autistic people. We work to make sure that autistic people are in control in our own lives, and have a say in policies that affect us. We work to protect disability rights and civil rights. We celebrate and promote autistic community and culture. We do this work in many ways, including:

Leadership training for autistic self-advocates

CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides professional development, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

The Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DLWD) is committed to helping persons with barriers to employment participate in the workforce.

Disability Rights NJ wields the power of the law to help improve the lives of people with disabilities, with the goal of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive society.
We fight for freedom from abuse, neglect, and discrimination wherever people with disabilities live, work, study, and play. Our work is rooted in a shared belief in the inherent value of all people and their right to self-determination, choice, and full participation in society.
